The VP of Shorelines tells me the wins are randomly computer generated and not to chase losses after I've made several complaints, is this true? Well if it was it would imply that the slot machines have randomly shut down for a year, before a year ago you could go in there and win something decent once or twice a week now its every few months or so if your a regular and the regulars know this, there are people in there chasing $75,000 losses, it doesn't seem that customer count has dropped so those suspicious computers must be fairly complex knowing something no human could figure out and we're all dumbfounded to what that is. I have noticed the place is getting pretty dirty and not just the people running it, the carpets are never vacuumed and the roof will sometimes leak on you. The VP assures me no one upstairs is controlling the machines, funny I have heard a former employee say that the guys up stairs shut certain machines down almost completely, seems they always have the perfect cover story every time I complain to management but it also looks incriminating, something very nefarious is going on indeed.

Casino is always fun but the buffet, 2 weeks ago, I got the Prime rib meal and when I got back to my table, I could smell something really bad I took a bite of the prime rib and right away I knew where the smell came from, my wife and our friend did the same. I took my plate to the hostess and she took my plate and said she was going to inform the kitchen but I watch her put the food in the garage and went back to greeting people coming in and didn't go to tell anyone in the kitchen. She didn't say anything else to me or my table. We haven't gone back since and will not go back to the restaurant/buffet. Respectful! Bill Fudge

My twin brother and I go to shorelines belleville several times a week. Arrived at 5 10 pm friday March the 10th 2026. Went to guest services to get our gift but we're informed they had none left. We asked if we were entitled to any free play instead and we're informed that's was not possible. The guest service person said we should have come sooner to get the gift. Which I found rude and inappropriate. Some people just can't show up during the day. This has happened 2 other times and left us with a bitter taste in our ive left my contact information for someone to reach out to me but have not heard anything since this has happened. Not good customer service.

So went to the casino with mom and dad. my dad is 80 doesn’t hear to good and I am not say my dad was in the right but the supervisor could have handled the situation better. instead of trying to tell my father he is the boss and he is suppose to listen to him maybe defuse the situation first or hear the old man out he is not unreasonable . Then we went to cash out to go out for dinner and no cashier to cash my chips a sign saying be back at 8:30. I had to ask someone with a walkie-talkie if we could get someone to cash us out. They had to ask the cashier to come off her break to cash out which took 20 minute not Acceptable if you ask me. I thanked the cashier for coming off her break and gave her a 10 dollar tip

They use to give free plays and u-spins now hardly ever. The staff are all very very friendly and helpful. I use to enjoy it but the last 2 times not so much. The meals are very tasty and hot good service as well.

Last night (November 23, 2025) we decided to try the casino buffet. I've read many asking about it, so here is what I found. Yes, we did sign up and as far as I can tell, there is no way to spend just $1 on a machine. Even the 1 cent slots end up being more than a dollar. Unless I don't know how to do that but that's fine. Between the 2 of us, we spend $10 It is worth it to get the membership card. The buffet is NOT worth the $45 cost to non members. It is more like a cafeteria with a SMALL salad bar and generic deserts. Hot items yesterday were roasted chicken without much flavour. Beef stew made from leftover prime rib (I found it dry) egg noodles, a small pasta station, fried battered fish, French fries, cabbage rolls (not great), scalloped potatoes that I found "tangy" a bread pudding stuffing (think loaf of stuffing) and steamed veggies. There is a fountain for pop and club soda. We are curious about the other themed nights and will pay the $20 because it is less expensive than a LOT of other places including fast food. If you go, don't expect gourmet. It's basic, is just OK but it is cheap if you have a FREE membership card. You pay before you eat. You can tip at the same time, I chose to leave a cash tip on the table. Healthier and fresher than most fast food, but in no way worth the non member price.

The buffet is back and well worth the trip!! The food was great, the service was even better.. The staff were quick and friendly , made me feel welcome. The line was long, but fast moving, so don;t let that deter you from a great meal, and a fun night out. Where else can you go pay 14 bucks for dinner have a fun night and go home with more that you went with? perfect bang for my hard earned buck.

I had a great time today at Shorelines Casino Belleville! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the place was very clean and well-maintained. There’s a good mix of slot machines and table games, and the atmosphere is fun but not too crowded.
