Guns and roses tribute band! Feb 28th 2026, great night, good band, big turnout but not too crowded. We stood by the dance floor, our server Peyton was fantastic and served our large group all night with enthusiasm and a big smile, we will be back! Completely different experience February 10/2026 What an amazing event 🎉 Make a Wish💫Wine for Wishes🥂 Great venue, amazing food with delicious wine pairings, live entertainment, silent auction, & raffles. Kudos to the staff and vendors on a flawless evening. When we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful staff, throughout the night the casino staff was welcoming and kind. After the event we went to the main bar and our server was fantastic and went above and beyond. Glad I gave this place another chance. Friday night, Eddie Griffin comedy show was not great. I laughed a few times, but it was not my kind of comedy. Relied heavily on the F bomb to get a laugh, then went on a tangent at the end which was just weird. In short I wouldn’t go see him again. The tickets were free and from what we heard a lot of the tickets had been given away. There were many empty seats. The room is a bizarre multi purpose room, even the comedian made a joke about it. The casino itself… well, this has been the 1st time I’ve been since being acquired by the Hard Rock. It seems pretty much the same, not sure what has been done? I expected to be wowed, but sadly was not. The staff seem very unfriendly, unhappy, unpleasant and completely unapproachable. When walking in you have no idea where the coat check is, honestly I still don’t know. The layout of the bar area is terrible, full of empty tables with reserved signs on them, big heavy chairs at the bar, making it difficult to go up and order a drink. We sat down in the restaurant area, had a fancy cafeteria feel, was completely ignored by wait staff for an hr. They went out of their way to not look at patrons as to not serve them. The band was great, but the layout is terrible, small dance floor in front of the band surrounded by tables of people eating, walled off from the bar. While leaving many of the staff walking around were very snarky and rude making very unimpressed faces, basically looked and behaved miserably. I’m good with never going back. Parking, good luck, we circled both lots several times then finally approached a man walking in the lot and got his spot, doesn’t seem to be nearly enough parking. The Lac-Leamy Casino puts this casino to shame.

I recently stayed at the hotel in a Silver Suite, and the room itself was beautiful. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the accommodations. At check-in, the front desk experience was very disappointing. The staff member (woman) assisting me walked away twice during our interaction, and when she returned, she continued serving me while engaging in a conversation with another guest who appeared to be a frequent casino visitor. This made me feel overlooked and as though my patronage was not valued, which is not acceptable. Overall, the service throughout the establishment left much to be desired. While spending two hours at a machine before my dinner reservation, I was never approached to see if I wanted anything. Compared to the previous establishment, the beverage service—especially for coffee—was noticeably worse. It also gave the impression that guests who do not drink alcohol are not prioritized. The service at the Oak Council was very good. Should try to be consistent throughout the venue. I expected a higher standard of service to match the otherwise lovely accommodations.

Great experience at the new Hard Rock Casino in Ottawa! The location is really well set up, modern, and very clean. Everything is well organized and easy to navigate. The atmosphere is fun without feeling overwhelming, and the drink selection was great. The sangria was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the design and overall experience. Definitely looking forward to going back to try the food next time. Highly recommend checking it out!

I had such a great experience at Hard Rock Ottawa thanks to the amazing service I got. The manager Cathy helped me, she was super friendly, professional, and really knew her stuff. She made everything feel easy and welcoming, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the people who walk through the door. I felt really well taken care of the whole time. She answered all of my questions, made great recommendations, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed. It’s rare to get service that feels both laid‑back and top‑notch, but she nailed it. Honestly, she turned a regular visit into a really awesome one. Huge shoutout to her for making the experience so smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Stopped by the Hard Rock Café Casino Ottawa and had the Legendary Smash Burger. It was really good, juicy, and well made. The casino itself is nice, clean, and has a great overall vibe. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt fun and lively. The only downside is the lack of table games; it would be even better with more options available. Overall, a solid experience and worth checking out.

First time staying and eating here and it was lovely. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, comfy and very well decorated. We ate at the restaurant and the food was so delicious. We had oysters too start and they were the freshest, very good. My main was the French onion soup (I forgot to take a picture!)and the salmon salad. The bread served before the oysters was warm, so fresh and we ordered a second serving which we rarely do. My spouse had oysters and the ceasar salad which he said was very good. Our friends had the halibut, beef tartar and shared truffle fries which was a large serving we all had a couple to taste. The truffle fries were the best I've had as I wouldn't normally try them as I find most are over seasoned, these were perfectly seasoned. For dessert I had the orange creme brule which was very good. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice place to eat and not rushed. It is pricey but very classy.
