Let's be honest... The welcome and service were appalling! The mojito was water, to say the least—where was the rum? 🤔 And the waitress was disastrous. Might as well change careers if there's no enthusiasm in what you do. A smile never hurt anyone, and certainly not good faith! As for the assistant who tried to "save the situation," no comment! When you charge 11 euros a glass, you expect something exceptional. We felt ripped off, not to mention the contempt from these young ladies that we clearly felt! In short, we won't be going back. Forced to give one star to post... 0

While visiting La Baule, we discovered the casino restaurant where we had dinner. The welcome was very friendly, the service perfect, and our dishes were delicious and piping hot: such a perfect evening for the price that we returned the following night.

Cautious. Zero star if possible. My friend won money on the table when he’s drunk, the counter gave him the money after 10 mins verifying the sum, and then he’s banned from the casino because the counter made a mistake on the sum. So thanks guys, clients have to take the full responsibilities to count the correct money when they leave the casino (drunk or not) instead of the professional cash counter. Real professional casino. (Irony)

Not bad value for money. Before starting your meal enjoy an aperitif outside and watch the busy street scene. There is a great salad bar and dessert bar included with most set orders. The fruit is all freshly cut and not from cans. The service is reasonably fast and friendly even when the restaurant is full. I recommend this restaurant. They try and entice you into the casino by giving you a 1€ voucher to suck you in. Don't bother, you never win and can lose more then the price of your meal.
