It was okay, they didn’t have the greatest selection of slots machines and I found the table areas were really crowded. I much prefer Riverrock or the Hardrock if I am in that area

We just returned home to Vernon BC having stayed two nights at the GVCH & CC. Our room on Floor 18 was wonderful, and the restaurant breakfast was superb and reasonable priced for a hotel casino. Full breakfast for $17 CAD (3-piece bacon, 2 eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. Staff took the time and chat us up for a few minutes when it wasn't busy (07:00-ish). Excellent access to/from TransCanada Highway 1 E/W at Willingdon Ave. Can hardly wait to return. Thanks, GVCH & CC!!!!!

DJ Dliruis is awesome!!! I love all the RnB. And I am so appreciative of the cozy fireplace and Starbucks at the main entrance. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I do find the common areas very cold. I wish someone would turn down the air conditioning or fans.

Nice building old but nice casino is decent also a bit dated still pretty fun entrance is fancy and nice I’d say the curb appeal, the staff and the location are the best things going for this old hotel. Those are the pros the cons… it’s an old building with carpet everything which is fine but my room had like rotting or delaminating trim in the bathroom also not a big deal. Deal breaker for me though was the no skip the dishes to your room you have to get dressed and come down to pick up. Also the tvs and media boxes are so old they don’t support laptops or game systems which I’ve never experienced in the 2020+ years. I feel like this hotel is designed for the elderly gambler which I am not also I ordered a 70$+ steak from downstairs which took almost 40 mins and was a lot more chewy than expected with almost no sides if you have a big appetite you will need more lol all and all I’d give this a 3/10 it would score lower but I think older people would still like it and have all their needs met. For the 60- crowd it might not be worth the money.

Large, good selection of games, good bar and restaurant staff, have always been nothing but professional and friendly. I don't play much table games but I do love craps, and the table staff I have interacted with here were rude and dismissive every time, and it's been consistent . If you want to play slots this is a good spot, but for table games I would go anywhere else. One star is dramatic considering all the other positives but it really puts a damper on the overall experience and has been consistent, not just a one off.

A huge thank you to Grand Villa for hosting our Catalyst Kinetics Christmas party on November 22! Our team felt so welcomed, and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the variety of appetizer platters that kept coming throughout the evening. Big thanks to the bartenders for keeping everyone’s drinks flowing. This team was a pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend the Alpine Bar to anyone looking for a fun, intimate spot to host an event. Thank you again Manny Gill, Food and Beverage Floor Manager!
