Drinks are good. Place is clean, staff are friendly. Lack of table space and slots though it seems. Lots of blackjack, not much poker. I feel the need to add to this as I've been several times since, and It has improved in my opinion. There is still limited poker however, but there is now so many more slot machines and the addition of interactive darts has really made is more appealing place to be. Little improvements on the drinks menu seems to have helped and the food always tastes good so it seems the changes made in my view have helped and certainly gained a rating.

Absolute joke of a cardroom, left there enraged 2/2 times. They've got no dealers, members of the public working for them dealing tournaments for a free drink, even have members of the public dealing cash poker. Absolute joke.

I had a really upsetting experience at Genting Casino Stoke at around 2:15am on Thursday 29 January 2026. I attended with my cousin and I was refused entry, while my cousin was not. When I asked why, I was told it was about how I was dressed. I was wearing high-waisted jeans, Vans and a loose-fitting button-up shirt. I explained that the shirt style is designed to be open at the bottom (not “missing buttons”). During this conversation, based on what was said and the guard’s body language/gestures, I felt targeted because of my weight. My weight gain is linked to a disability and prescribed medication, which made the experience even more upsetting and humiliating. What added to it was that another customer was allowed in shortly afterwards wearing more revealing clothing, which made the refusal feel inconsistent. We asked to speak to a manager at the time, but that didn’t happen. I later complained and was told CCTV exists but has no audio, and the venue relied on staff accounts and closed the complaint. I understand venues can refuse entry (including if they believe someone is intoxicated), but I expected to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. This has genuinely affected my confidence going out. I’m posting this so the venue improves how it handles refusals and complaints—especially when a customer asks to speak to a manager. If Genting would like to contact me to resolve this, I’m happy to discuss it privately.

Went for food and a flutter. Use to go here for food before Covid . Not much choice on the menu but the food was good . Waiter said they just trying to bring the food back into the casino now . The Christmas menu looks good . We had a starter and main .Cocktails available. We try a few . Service was excellent. Had a flutter on the machines and blackjack. Bonus! we won but we know that isn’t always the case . Private car park so make sure you put your registration in . There is a cloakroom. You need to sign in or join . They do check ID. Definitely go back .

Stylish modern venue, with plenty of tables for gaming. The bars are very well stocked and very clean. The staff are friendly and approachable and love being tipped (obviously). If you're after a late night bar/casino around Hanley I wouldn't recommend anywhere else but here for a safe and enjoyable evening. 5/5
