It’s a long story, but I just had an unplanned visit to Genting Casino in Stockport, and as I left feeling happier than when I went in, I thought it would be nice to leave a review, . I stayed for a few hours, and it was very quiet, but I guess that’s to be expected on a Wednesday evening. I don’t think it gets busy till late on, when the nearby bars are closing. There was only one table open, so I just played there for the duration of my stay. I didn’t stay because I wanted to win money, I stayed because I wanted to socialise. There weren’t many people to socialise with, so I just mumbled at the dealers. Thanks for listening. Luckily, a lady dealer called Jenny arrived at the table before I left, and her upbeat character and positive attitude, really raised my vibrations, (also my chips). Her outstanding customer service was more appreciated than she realised. The manager/assistant managerAmanda, was polite and welcoming throughout my stay. They seem to have a lot of young new recruits as their gaming staff, and whilst I don’t want to encourage gambling, I kind of hope that the night life will pick up, and more people will go and have fun in there, so they can gain more experience and happiness. I had a great chat with a guy in the smoking area, (first time I’m glad that I vape), Cashed out with a polite cashier, and left with the sound of a lovely receptionist saying goodbye to me. Always gone grosvenor for the last 9 years.. Dropped in here a few times before it was Gentings but was never too impressed. Last night was fantastic and not just because I won. All croupiers were brilliant, staff were brilliant and a great atmosphere Ill definitely be returning Thanks alot guys

Excellent...my mums 80th went a bit tit's up so we came here...my mother was made to feel like the queen she is...so much kindness along with true professionalism...can't describe how highly I regard the people who work here and what an amazing company to allow the employees to have the discretion to make my mother feel as special as they made her feel.. amazing xxx thank-you xxx

I visited this casino during Easter Holiday. The staff there were really helpful and friendly. Lynn, Dan and Colin introduced the games to us very patiently. We did have an enjoyable moment there. Thank you.

I like it here well enough for drinking if I’ve been somewhere out late but it can get very hectic at weekends as it’s near to Wetherspoons, and can bring that crowd in — although more people gamble here than don’t
