We stopped by briefly during our vacation and had the misfortune of someone at the machine next to us taking a receipt with money we'd dropped on the floor (€40, not a huge amount). We were quite upset about the situation because we didn't think there was anything we could do about it. However, to our surprise, we mentioned it (with the help of a gentleman who translated for us since we're Spanish) to the security staff (a very friendly blond man), and we were very impressed by the efficiency of their security system. In about 15-20 minutes, they had located the person in question, confirmed the receipt with us, and discreetly asked him to leave the premises (although we did see him). I want to thank them for their excellent service; we will definitely be back :)

Beautiful spot on the edge of Biarritz's main beach. The waiter who served us wasn't very keen on serving us food at 2:15 pm in a touristy area; it's a bit late.

Two rounds of drinks, charged 1st round straight up without a tab. Ordered another round using best prepped French, was then charged for both rounds. No real apology, free drink/nibbles just a straight refund. Now, this may be a mistake, but I only noticed as I paid Gpay, buyer beware!!

Dodin easily serves the best toasted bread in the world. The hot chocolate is a delight. Don't go for the Moscow mule, though

Delicious yet simple food, my daughter finished her plate, a rare event. Very pleasant surroundings, and attentive staff. Prices were quite reasonable.

The place is nice, very close to the beach. But we suffered the rudest and most arrogant waiter we have ever seen. Don’t know the reason, but he didn’t listen properly when we were asking, then refused to bring a little milk and left a bottle unopened. We’ll never come back to this place.
