I drove over an hour to play a £60 warm up tournament for the UKPC, only to be turned away at the door. They now require physical ID to re-register, but there is absolutely NO mention of this on their website and they never sent an email to existing members. The staff attitude was shocking. An older blonde woman (who wasn't even serving me) chipped in aggressively, lecturing me for not reading their Facebook posts from 2 years ago. I tried to compromise... I showed them the digital driving licence I use for my DBS checks and offered to bring the plastic card the very next day. The receptionist refused, claiming it might be "AI generated". I felt humiliated, treated like a scammer or a criminal trying to sneak in, when I just wanted to play a small £60 game. They actually ended up telling me to go play at a competitor's casino instead. I planned to play the UKPC festival here, but after this insult, I’ll take my money where customers are actually respected. Waste of time and fuel.

I had not been here in over 10 years and needless to say my card was outdated. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and passed me a IPad to update my details. Once fingerprints were taken and ID presented, I was then allowed entry. Bar staff were very efficient, I was always greeted with a smile from the valet. Dealers very professional and the only bad experience were the cards. Better luck next time, hopefully.

First time visitor. Here for the WSoP event November 2025. Sign up was a bit of a pain, just to get in the door. As it was a big event drawing people from many miles and even other countries, many had to sign up. A star is lost here, as they must have known about the number of signups, but still turned people away at 11:28 (they opened at 11:30.for a 12:00 event. Organisation was poor and they really needed more staff here. The venue itself however was everything it should be, if a little understaffed in places. There is a decent smoking area,.and the devilfish bar is a high point. Food seems to range from ok to excellent. The young female wait staff had uniforms designed by someone at hooters, but responsive and there were enough of them. Overall a decent first impression, would visit again.

Decent venue, dealers are professional and issues are sorted promptly by the floor. Good mix of tournaments and cash. Clientele can be hit or miss but that's poker players for you. Overall good experience
